J. Maree has spent twenty-five years teaching other people how to come home to their bodies — as a yoga teacher, a somatic coach, a woman who has rebuilt her own life more than once and started over each time from the inside out.
She lives, for now, in St. Louis. Soon, Chicago. Eventually, Bali — a place she has not yet seen in person but has already begun preparing for, the way some people prepare for a marriage.
She has two cats, a habit of writing things down at strange hours, and a long-running suspicion that the years between thirty and menopause were never given their own story. This is some of that story.
She is currently in the middle of losing sixty pounds, building a somatic coaching practice called Serenity, and trying to write more honestly than she used to think was allowed.
